Seeking Pennington Ambassadors

April 10, 2017 10:57 AM | Lori Lancaster (Administrator)

BirdSleuth K-12 Education program at the Cornell Lab of Ornithology is now in partnership with Pennington Seed. We’re aiming to distribute window bird feeders to 10,000 teachers across the country. We would like to offer you feeders to give out at your teacher professional development workshops this spring and summer.

If you are planning to lead any bird/nature focused workshops this spring/summer (ideally before July) or would like to plan one, we’d be happy to send you free window bird feeders to give out to the teachers.  We ask that you introduce them to our Feathered Friends resources (free download) and give them some background on bird feeding. We are also flexible to work with you on creating workshops around other topics such as citizen science, gardening, bird identification, and more! We can provide logistical support and customizable PowerPoint presentations to help you organize and support your workshop.  For information, please visit our website. If you already have a workshop date and wish to receive the feeders, you can complete this online survey right away: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/8CJJ5TC.
