Teaching during these unprecedented times have left many of us feeling isolated and alone. This hour PD will be devoted to sharing resources and supporting one another for our immediate needs. After a structured reflection, we will divide into groups based on need and provide a space for teachers facing similar challenges to problem solve together, share resources, and support each other. Possible groups include: how to engage more students on screen, feeling overwhelmed with grading, stuck on a particular technology tool or space to vent with others. While we will have resources to share, out hope is that teachers might feel empowered to share their own expertise as well.
Presenters:
Berkeley Gadbaw, 8th grade science teacher, Catlin Gabel School
Susan Holveck, Science Program Administrator, Portland Public Schools
