Welcome to "Shark Tank: Middle School Edition," an innovative and exciting activity inspired by the popular TV show and Justin Shaifer, aka Mr. Fascinate. In this dynamic learning experience, middle school students step into entrepreneurs' shoes. The core of the activity revolves around students developing their unique ideas or solutions to real-world problems. These ideas are aimed at improving the lives of others, fostering a sense of empathy and social responsibility among the young learners. The activity concludes when students pitch their ideas to a panel of judges in a fun and engaging presentation.
In this webinar, you will:
Be introduced to an overview of Shark Tank in the classroom and how it supports unlocking the power of student creativity and collaboration.
Learn an approach for implementation and timeline, including example videos
Receive materials and resources to support and guide students through the process of planning and development, including assessment tools.
